The Process

• You control your book – you have the final say on design and content, subject to the material being of a good enough standard for commercial publication.
   

• You make more money per copy sold, because we’ll pass most of the royalties on to you. 
   

• You will keep all rights to your book – we don’t try to make money from authors’ books except insofar as our costs have to be covered.
   

• We’ll keep your book on the market indefinitely.
   

• We’ll help you to market your book and get it noticed by your target audience.

 

At Hooked on Books we will be happy to publish your book in return for the appropriate fees, once the content has been brought to a publishable standard. Most manuscripts do need editing, and we’ll advise on what work yours needs and provide an estimate (no obligation). We will share this process with you.

We’ll advise you on any photographic content and source pictures from outside if the book requires them. We will prepare a professional design that’s good enough to stand alongside best-selling books in the stores, and we’ll work to your timescale, subject to practical limitations.
